The new Cut Sheet Laminator performs a continuous operation with no intermittent stopping while film is sized, cut or laminated. This important feature means no stopping in processing to wait for film tacking to ocur on each panel. With no stop and start delays for film tacking, Western Magnum saves you production time for every panel processed. Total time saved over the course of months or a year can be substantial.
This very effective design employs two stations of heated roller pairs for a total of four hot pressure rollers in the machine. Each station's pair of rollers has independent temperature and pressure controls. The heated rollers in the first station serve as a preheating and laminating step, warming the film and the panel prior to further hot pressure lamination in the second station.
Warming the dry film and panel in the first station enhances the flow and conformation of the film to the panel and its surface irregularities before lamination again in the second station.
